What personal data we collect through this website and by email, why we use it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

NSysNets is responsible for your personal data. Our business details are on the contact page. If you have a question about this page, email hello@nsysnets.com.

When you visit this website

Our server keeps a log of each visit, as most web servers do. Each entry has your IP address, the date and time, the page you asked for, the page you came from, and details of your browser and device.

We use these logs to keep the website working and safe, such as finding faults and stopping attacks. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in doing this.

We keep logs for 14 days. If we're dealing with an attack, we may keep the related entries for longer.

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics, advertising or any other tracking.

When you email us

We receive your email address, your name if you give it, and anything you write or attach.

We use this to reply to you, and to plan and do any work you ask for. Our legal basis is that you asked us to do this, either before a contract or under one. For other messages, it's our legitimate interest in answering them.

We keep your emails for as long as we need them for this, and for as long as the law says we must keep business records.

Who else can see your data

GoDaddy provides the server that holds this website and our email, and it sends our outgoing email for us.

We share your data with anyone else only if you agree or the law requires it. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.

Where your data is stored

Our server is in Singapore, which is outside Sri Lanka. Emails we send may also pass through GoDaddy's mail servers in other countries.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Show you the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct it if it's wrong or incomplete.
  • Stop using it, where we rely on our legitimate interest.
  • Delete it, in the cases the law allows.

Email hello@nsysnets.com to ask. It's free, and we'll reply within one month.

If you're not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Authority of Sri Lanka.

Other things to know

You don't have to email us or give us your details. If you do email us, we need your email address to reply. Our server also needs your IP address to send you a page.

We don't use automated decisions or profiling.

If anything here changes, we'll update this page.
